"I wanted the lounge to be somewhere between the feel of The Great Gatsby and the tone of the Virgin Suicides with the hint of a glossy Helmut Newton photograph."

Night Palm was approached by the famed Parisian restaurant to design the communal lounge for their Los Angeles sister restaurant on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. We wanted to honor the French roots of Kaspia but it was important that it also reflect the feel of California and Hollywood. To do that we worked with a palette of soft amber, cognac and bronze to create an environment that was warm and also channeled Kaspia's original Paris location just off the Place de la Madeleine.
